Ordering Prints Thank you for your interest in purchasing a print! At one time, I had provided a direct link to a page for each image with one, two or three print size options on a single kind of photo paper, and buttons that would take you to PayPal to purchase the prints by credit card. Alas, life has been getting much more complicated!! I have many more images to offer, my printing systems are vastly updated and capable of larger prints of surpassing longevity, and it will take me a LOOONNGGG time to update all of my pages to include the dizzying array of options. Since I have at least four different finish (media) options and up to eleven different size options, that's, uh, up to forty-four different options I would need to put on some pages. Ouch! Sooo.... I thought it would be better to simply describe here for you what basic media options, sizes and prices are available, to at least give you an idea of what is available here. Then, you can contact me by email to request specific information on making a print for you. In your email, please give me your name and mailing address, the name(s) or number(s) of the image you are interested in, and the size you might like your image to be printed at. You can also tell me your preference for a finish (media) type, if you like. Then, I will email you back and tell you precisely the available sizes for your image, and what it will cost with the various media options. If you decide to purchase, you can then pay by PayPal (or you can mail me a check or money order), and I will process your order. Here's basically what's available: For FLOWERS and ANIMALS, I can provide 12x15 or 12x18 prints (depending on the image composition) on all media types (paper), and I recommend the Standard Archival Premium Semi-Gloss (or Semi-Matte, which is virtually identical) finish for these types of images. A Premium Glossy Finish is also available, if you request it (at no extra charge). I have a few 13x19 prints left over from previous production on Glossy paper, but these are not "up to 100 years Archival" like the new prints I now offer. These will not be produced again, so you may purchase these while they're available. They are excellent quality prints, and will last 10 years or more if framed under glass. These images CAN be printed somewhat larger -- perhaps up to 16x22 or even 18x24 or 18x27, but I will supply these larger prints ONLY ON CANVAS. The standard paper (and some of the Matte papers, also) are very revealing, photographically, and on this kind of paper, these images tend to get a little "digital edgy" when printed at large sizes, and I will not honor return privileges on images printed at non-recommended sizes on non-recommended media. So, save your money and get a smaller image, or order the larger image on Canvas. Canvas has a certain type of texture which is very forgiving of the kind of imperfections we get with digital images. For LANDSCAPE ("Waterscapes") images, I can provide virtually any size from my smallest offered size (12x15) to the largest (24x36). These are all photographed on 4x5 sheet film, so they can be enlarged greatly and retain beauty, sharpness and integrity (no "digital edge", and virtually non-existent film grain). These look wonderful on the Standard Semi-Gloss paper, but they look absolutely stunning on the Fine Art Matte paper, and also present beautifully on Canvas. These are more expensive, and the additional expense goes completely toward the extra ink, the more expensive paper, and the additional time it takes to process such an order -- the higher price for the Fine Art Matte print is not a "profit enhancement" for me. So, if you want something extra-special, this is the ticket. Some of these images are also in limited stock as 13x19 glossy prints. For the PLACES gallery images (when I get around to completing a gallery in that section), most images are on medium format film (some on large format), so we can do some moderate enlargement, say up to 18x24 or 18x27, with excellent results. Some of these scenes HAVE been photographed using large format film. When I post them, I'll let you know which ones have been. Any print finish can be applied to these images; perhaps I will make specific recommendations when I create the gallery. If your requested size is not available for your image, I can recommend the appropriate size, and we can proceed with your order. Once we confirm the correct size print for your image, you can place your order by going to paypal.com (and registering a free account, if you don't already have one), and sending money to "purchaseprints@robertsmithphotography.net", along with information about your order. I will confirm your order immediately. Once your order is placed, I will process it as quickly as possible. Each print is individually made to order. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery, though in most cases, I should be able to fill your order much more quickly. Framed Prints: I can produce a few sizes of Framed Prints, ready to ship. If you are intersted, please contact me for more information. Print Quality Guarantee: I will always produce these prints using the latest available digital photo inkjet technology for the finest image quality, color accuracy, and longevity (archivability). I unconditionally guarantee these prints to equal or surpass any process - digital or chemically-based -- of producing high-quality photographs. If you don't agree, then simply return your order, and I will refund your money, less shipping charges. Print Materials: The Standard print finish is a premium semi-gloss or semi-matte finish (which are nearly identical). Also available are prints made on a premium Fine Art Matte paper (smooth or textured) or Canvas. All types of finishes are optimally designed for faithful photo-quality reproduction in digital printing. The materials used to produce all finish types are museum-quality, lightfast and fade-resistant -- up to 100 years behind glass, and good for decades under normal home lighting without glass (which is my recommendation). Print Sizes: I make available the following print sizes (in inches): 12x15, 12x18, 16x20, 16x22, 18x24, 18x27, 20x30, 22x28, 24x30, 24x34, and 24x36.
